Steven founded Alluence Capital Advisors in 2001. Prior to founding Alluence Capital Advisors, Steven practiced corporate law at a leading national Canadian law firm advising public and private companies, financial sponsors, and entrepreneurs on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and financings. Among his professional distinctions, he holds a Masters Degree in Law in Banking and Financial Services, is a former Chair of the International Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association, and has been a frequent speaker at legal conferences on international transactions and legal opinions.  Steven has published numerous articles on legal aspects of acquisitions, divestitures and financings. Steven holds an LL.M. (Banking and Finance) from York University and an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario.
